Join horticulture curators, Tara Dudley and Meredith Nunnikhoven, as they botanically dish about their lives behind the blooms. Tara is the owner and landscape designer of Plant Life Designs located in Van Meter, Iowa. Meredith is a fifth-generation, farmer that owns and operates a fresh-cut flower farm, Barnswallow Flowers, on the family farm in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Together this podcast explores two Midwest friends embarking on flower adventures, building local collaborations and sharing stories of failures and success while working in the Midwest of the U.S.A.

In episode 1, “Growing in a Non-Growing Season,” Tara and Meredith introduce you to their lives and work in curating blooms for their communities in the winter season of 2021.

In episode 2, “Value of a Fresh Flower,” Tara and Meredith examine the value of a fresh flower and what that means to them, the land and their flower-loving customers.
